From One Online Store
to 83 Countries

It started before most people knew what ecommerce was. In 1998, our founder Charles Tang built his first online store for a computer parts business — and watched it hit USD 2.5 million in annual revenue. That proved something: the internet could be a serious business engine if you built the right tools.

In 2001, Charles launched InstanteStore — a hosted ecommerce platform for small and medium businesses who couldn't afford to build their own. It grew quietly but steadily, and by the mid-2000s it was serving merchants across Asia and beyond.

On 26 July 2005, eSolved MSC Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Penang to house the growing business. With MSC Malaysia status and a team that combined deep technical skill with real business operations experience, we expanded from ecommerce into custom development, fintech, mobile apps, and automation.

Today, we operate from two offices — Penang and Selangor — serving clients across industries and geographies. Our own products run at scale, our custom builds solve complex problems, and our clients have collectively processed over USD 1 billion through our platforms.
